It’s been a BIG year for Blush. 🤩

A lot of great new projects and clients, as well as becoming a B Corp!

After completing our first decade as an agency last year everything seems like it’s levelled up.

Weirdly, we feel just as excited about it all as we did when we started. Massive thanks to everyone we’ve worked with this year for making it so enjoyable.

To celebrate things that just seem to get even more fun over time, we’ve created a set of 11th birthday edition animations featuring some of our fave classic video games. 👾

Hurray! We’ve officially become a B Corp.

🌍 What on earth is B Corp?
B Corp is an initiative that is all about businesses having a positive impact and not just about making money – and we agree!

💚 Why bother?
Becoming certified shows our commitment to doing things the right way, from taking care of our employees to being mindful of our environmental footprint.

✅ What have we done?
Since starting Blush over 10 years ago we’ve always strived to do good work for good people, and we’ve been lucky enough to grow a client list that reflects this.

It’s not all plain sailing though – to be recognised as a B Corp requires asking serious questions about your business practices – it took us nearly a year to get certified, and we’ve made lots of changes, big and small, to make sure we’re walking the talk.

For us, it’s not just about what we do, but how we do it – and this step helps keep us accountable to that vision. We’re proud to have scored highly across the initiative’s various categories and we’re excited about challenging ourselves to continue growing as a force for good.

Proud moment for Blush 🦊

The ECI for Fur Free Europe closed on 1 March 2023 with an incredible 1,701,892 signatures of support to finally put a stop to the fur industry.

Not only are we’re extremely proud to have collaborated with Eurogroup for Animals on the ECI campaign branding as a whole, we also learnt that this has been one of the best performing ECI’s to date too. 🙌

An ECI stands for European Citizens' Initiative – a platform to call upon the European Commission to propose new EU laws. In this instance, banning fur farms and fur products across Europe.

So what happens now? Once the Member States have validated the final signature count, the European Commission must review and take action within 6 months.

🦊 The campaign is our chance to finally ban all fur farms and farmed fur products from the European market.

We’re extremely proud to be working alongside Eurogroup for Animals and their network of members to arm them with a suite of design visuals for this momentous year-long campaign. 🗯

This week was a huge milestone as we reached half a million signatures. Once we reach 1 million validated signatures, the European Commission is obliged to respond and take action. ✍️
