It's National Apprenticeship Week! The theme of encourages diversity and showcases the value that apprenticeships bring to not only the apprentice but employers too. It's 'Blue Monday' today which is thought to be the 'most depressing day of the year'. Some people use this day to rebel against its reputation - which is exactly what we decided to do.

We encouraged staff to wear their brightest clothes today and we called it 'Bright Monday'. We know the importance of our staff’s mental wellbeing, so thank you to all our staff that came in wearing their brightest clothes to cheer the office up!

Last week some of the team involved in our creative campaign for Thames Water attended the Dorset Business Awards with some of the county’s finest businesses. We were up for 'Creative Impact', a category that was the most contested they have ever had and we are proud to have been a finalist. A great evening hosted by Dorset Chamber and a big congratulations to all the winners!

On Friday, a few of us attended the Whathouse Awards 2019, honouring the best new builds and housebuilders of the industry. With a space theme and a speech from none other than astronaut Major Tim Peake, the audience were captivated and inspired by the speaker and the variety of high quality housebuilders.

Congratulations to all of the winners from the night, we look forward to next year!

On the back of our Remain a Londoner film for Fairview New Homes - the creative reminding Londoners why they should stay living in London - we wanted to create a buzz around the campaign's messaging on what would have been 'BREXIT' day. So, on Friday 1st, our advan with Promogroup had heads turning, faces smiling and plenty of photos taken.

To aid brand positioning for Fairview New Homes prestigious MoDE development in Camden, new creative was generated to appeal to more affluent readers of Tatler, GQ, Vogue and House & Garden. The creative exemplified the ethos of Mode and how future residents would feel living in a hidden gem in Camden, owning their lifestyle experience. The choice of media helped to position MoDE and raise its profile in amongst other aspirational brands the target audience are interested in.

We had Studio Shotz Photography here this morning to take photos in advance of the highly anticipated Dorset Business Awards 📸 We are finalists for the 'Creative Impact Award' with our Sewper Heroes campaign for Thames Water. What a great way to celebrate the writers, art directors, video/animation team and account people who worked so hard on the creative strategy, we'll let you know the results when we attend the awards next month.

Pete and Alice were at the Marketing Week Masters on Wednesday night to celebrate our Thames Water Sewper Heroes campaign. Pete said: “Our campaign was up against some of the world’s leading brands - E.ON, EDF Energy, O2 and Huawei, so to see our names in the final five as a ‘Sector Master’ was testament to a brilliant and beautifully delivered creative strategy.”

Note the title on the screen, ‘Sector Masters’… that’s us!
