Perhaps it's time to try another way - Conversational forms.

Using your you are able to collect the same information that you would collect using a typical form, but conversationally and it has 3 key advantages over a standard web form.

1. It feels slicker - although no quicker, the process just feels a little more fluid and natural. People seem to have an inherent hatred for forms.

2. It feels more personal - You can take a name and then use that name throughout the conversation.

3. It's refreshing. You don't see them very often so they are a breath of fresh air that increases the likelihood of form completion.

A designer will be checking off elements of good conversational design as they go that are standard for all brands and sectors.

Formality though will differ per client.

▶️How do we refer to the customer? First name, full name, friend.
▶️How do we refer to our brand? Full brand name, we, the team, us?
▶️Are we going to use industry-standard terms? Should we dumb it down?
▶️Are we going to use idioms? Your guess is as good as mine, over-the-moon, kill two birds with one stone.
▶️Are we going to use slang? Hey, lit, extra, salty
▶️Emojis? 🤣😎🙏
