erience in the printing industry. This experience has evolved from the shop floor through to senior management, involving manufacturing, customer service, commercial, sales and sales management. Our ethos is the correct supplier/paper/press for the job in hand to get the best result in the given time frame. This breadth of experience has helped us to understand what people who buy printed communications are looking for, what delights them and what does not! Price is an important factor, but value for money is a better way of describing it. Value for money is about quality, service, communication, ease of use in addition to a competitive price. In our experience, clients are willing to re-invest the savings that we make back into their marketing budget to maximise their returns on the campaign, and be more successful in their own business. Our clients range from people buying print on a daily basis, to once a year. We are happy to consult with organisations up to the point of them purchasing direct from our recommended supplier (or their existing supplier if it makes more sense), or to see a project through from concept to doormat. We are willing to undertake procurement projects, analysing previous spend and making recommendations for more cost effective solutions, brand management and leveraged spend, as well as tracking savings against those benchmarks. To be successful we have to ensure that our suppliers are well looked after, well remunerated and actually produce work, which is ideally suited to their equipment. We do not believe in forcing prices or Dutch or reverse auctions. The way we procure writes itself on that basis. Approach Consulting offers professional HR service for SME's and public sector organisations who have no dedicated HR function. We provide advice on recruitment, policies and procedures, employee relations and ad hoc services such as preparations of staff handbooks. Everyone does something for a reason. We run Approach because we enjoy it, we like the challenge, but more than anything, we like the feeling of delighting our clients – so that they return time and again as well as recommend us to their friends, business associates and colleagues.
