Rad selection of tees in various colourways I screen printed for from 2022 for a little throwback!

Love this graphic! We have ran it a few times but these havnt actually been shared here before either as I only started really properly using the blendy page in 2023 before then I was mainly working on my own clothing brand thing but still did bits for people and was one of the first! Found these recently going through the last 5 years of iCloud ❤️

These come out cracking for ⚡️

Not just any screen print this is a hybrid screen print of 2 different inks! The white is the regular waterbased ink I always use and the yellow is waterbased discharge ink.

This stuff goes down transparent when printing and then when passed through the conveyor dryer a chemical reaction occurs. As the print reaches curing temp the ink strips away the black dye from the shirt and leaves behind the natural cotton with whatever colour pigment you add to the ink. This results in super soft zero hand feel and essentially the print is now the shirt!

So 2 colour back and 1 col front hand screened with the discharge ink on Gildan ultra cotton tees.

Reasons for using discharge - keep costs down as generally you need an underbase for dark garments depending on the ink colour. So extra screen set up but discharge ink just one screen is needed and you still get nice bright /opaque colours.

Absolutely stoked on how these come out for Skatereclaimcreate 🤝 They were a first with the double sided folded labels instead of patches sewn on directly to the cuff so was bit of a challenge figuring the folds and sizing out etc but the results are awesome.

Not sure why I didn’t get a clip of showing the folded label both ways on the beanie cuff but you get the idea!

Labels are cut from thick diagonal weave cotton drill and then hand screen printed with eco waterbased inks and sewn onto recycled beanies in various colours!
