What If? Part 3: The Choice Is Yours
What if it’s true? What if the rapture isn’t just a biblical promise, but a personal invitation with your name on it? In Parts 1 and 2, we explored the “what if” of God’s reality, Jesus’ salvation, and the signs pointing to the end times. Now, let’s get real: What if your eternity hinges on a decision you make today?
Picture this—the rapture happens. Believers vanish in the blink of an eye, as described in 1 Corinthians 15:52: “In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” What if you’re left behind, facing tribulation like the world has never seen? Revelation paints a grim picture: plagues, judgments, and deception on a massive scale. But what if that’s not your story?
The good news? God doesn’t want anyone to perish. 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” What if Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross—dying for your sins, rising again—was meant to spare you from what’s coming? All it takes is faith: Believe in Him, turn from your ways, and step into a relationship that’s transformative.
Skeptics might say, “What if it’s all a fairy tale?” Fair question. But what if the changed lives, the answered prayers, and the historical evidence for the resurrection point to something undeniable? Millions have found peace, purpose, and hope in Christ. What if you’re next?
The clock is ticking. What if this is your moment? Pray a simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I believe that you died and rose from the dead. I declare that you are the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life for my spirit by faith in your Name. I am saved.” Dive into Scripture, find a community of believers. What if this “what if” leads to the greatest adventure of your existence?
