Fantastic to see Olleco taking home a Digital Innovation Award at the Materials Recycling World National Recycling Awards for its innovative oil recycling app 🙌.

The 4fx team supported Olleco with the development of this mobile app for both Android and iOS, plus a Windows web portal. It is so exciting to see how this technology is being used to solve practical business problems and contribute to a circular economy approach.

The customer service app gives food service and hospitality operators a simple way to ensure their kitchens never run out of cooking oil, while making sure every drop of used oil is recycled - all with just the click of a button.

A client recently returned to us to update its Grainmate app with new branding, enhance its functionality and deploy the latest operating system. This included changes to graphics and code, as well as managing the changes through the App Store.

Originally built by the 4fx Design & Multimedia Ltd team several years ago for Viterra, the Grainmate native app brings technology into the field and gives cereal growers a complete package, enabling farmers to trade whenever and wherever they want to, with confidence. It gives farmers access to essential market information such as futures and foreign exchange prices, allowing them to sell their grain on the move.

Following a merger with BUNGE UK LIMITED, the app needed updating with new brand guidelines, including colours, logo and fonts, while retaining the current layout. Design enhancements were also made to the splash screen, tab bar, home screen, ‘Get a Quote’, ‘Futures Market’, ‘Contact’ and ‘About’ pages. Plus, the app was upgraded to Apple’s iOS26 operating system and then deployed with relevant images and information updated in the App Store in time for a release on a specific date.

Recently we worked with a local taxi firm to give their brand a new look and feel, as well as improving the user experience and functionality of their website.

Zoom Taxis were keen to work with a fellow local firm and after finding the 4fx Design & Multimedia Ltd team through our website (and liking what they saw), we had an initial chat to understand what they were hoping to achieve. The business wanted to improve their image, increase local demand for taxi services, as well as promote their executive travel options and airport runs.
