We're buzzing to welcome Alecia (Violet) to Web Design MK as our Marketing Assistant and General Assistant. She's fresh from Bedford College where she's been diving deep into Fashion, Textiles, and Fine Art. Right now, she's focused on fine art and has big dreams of becoming a tattoo artist—she practices with her kit every single day and loves to draw.

Here's what matters: just because her dad's the boss doesn't mean she gets special treatment. We don't do that here. She's earned her place on the team, and we're genuinely excited about the fresh creative perspective she's bringing.

After years as a mechanic, my new friend felt the toll on his body. We spent hours talking about mechanical engineering, problem-solving, and what comes next. He's building an e-commerce venture—self-funded from his salary, bootstrapped and determined.

So I helped. Installed his shopping cart. Sorted his colours, logo, and branding. Made sure everything was CMP and accessibility compliant. Showed him how to actually run an online store.

Its not the pretiest website but at the end of the day it is an ecommerce store selling safety clothes in the industry he knows best.

Did we make a big margin? No. But we gained:
- Monthly hosting revenue
- A loyal, long-term customer
- A genuine friendship built on shared interests
- The chance to watch something new grow from the ground up
- And thanks to him, 10 more trees planted through our environmental initiative

That's the real win.

Not every win looks like a big sale.

Over the last few months, we've worked with several new ventures where the budget barely covered our costs. Loestha Treats is one of them—a fresh vending machine supply business with a solid idea but tight resources.

Instead of passing, we jumped in. Built them a budget-friendly website to get started. Worked through their business plan. Threw in logo design. Now we're supporting their social pages as they find their footing.

Could we have turned them away? Sure. Times are tough, and we can't do this for everyone. But here's the thing: if every business owner helped support one fellow entrepreneur each month, we'd all navigate these difficult periods together.

We're not a charity. We're a company that builds websites, manages digital marketing, and genuinely believes in supporting local and new businesses. Sometimes the best investment isn't the biggest cheque—it's the one that helps someone get started.
