I've fallen in love with MARSALA.- the pantone colour for 2015. It's taken me years to discover a 'WOW' colour in my palette that seems to suit my new hair colour. Not only that, whilst clearing out my wardrobe and deciding what new garments would boost my spring wardrobe, I discovered a Marsala leather jacket and a pair of boots lurking in the back of the wardrobe , that I have never worn before! A quick trip to the local high street fashion stores and some cheap and cheerful long sleeve t' shirt and a soft cream/ peach scarf purchases, completes my new look for the chillier days of spring and the forthcoming Easter holiday

Attended the celebration event for Inspirational Women in Volunteering in Kirklees last night at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, to support our amazing volunteer fundraiser for Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire- Mary Rogers.There were 40+ amazing women in that room all being recognised as inspirational women- everyone a winner!Congratulations to you all and to Volunteering Kirklees who organised the opportunity to nominate those women and the celebration event, introduced fabulous speakers, including Liz Green from BBC Radio Leeds and the very funny Asian comedienne Shazia Mirza, who had everyone rockin' in the aisles with mirth. A fabulous night.Thank you
