Stowmarket Lions Tour around Gipping Press

Gipping Press and the Stowmarket and District Lions have worked very closely together for decades and to strengthen that relationship even further a tour was arranged around the premises. Throughout the event members of the Lions were shown all processes that take place under the Gipping Press roof; from the studio design through to all 3 print processes and the various finishing equipment too.

It is always a pleasure to share the world of print to people outside of the trade as often people are not aware of what is involved to produce the printed items that almost everyone has in the home. This can include flyers to brochures, from exhibition displays and banners, through to books or signage.

Autumn 2025 marks Gipping Press’ 45th Anniversary! We were formed in 1980 by Mike Truscott in the Needham Market Town Hall before moving 2 years later to our current site in the Lion Barn Industrial Estate!

To help celebrate the landmark we are offering 30 free UK native trees to anybody with the land to plant one. These are a mixture of Oaks, Wild Cherry and Hornbeams.

The trees have kindly been pot grown by Peter Smith in Bacton and are around 1 metre tall and ready for planting in their forever homes!

If you would like to give one a home and help our native wildlife then get in touch and we will make the arrangements for you!

Case Study: Quality Equipment
Quality Equipment manufacture and sell equipment primarily for the pig farming industry and are a very long standing customer of ours. We recently worked on a couple of projects for them with really nice results.
Following a redecoration of their offices we produced some white vinyl cut to shape of their logo and branding to be applied to the dark blue painted walls. The result was a simple yet extremely effective backdrop.

Off the back of that we then helped to produce some colour cut out vinyls to be applied to their new pig nursery cabins. Two very similar processes to create two quite different looks. We think it works very well!

Case Study: Thompson and Morgan
Thompson and Morgan were preparing the display for their next season’s seed packets and needed our help to create a series of packet mock ups for the publicity.
This was a very involved process with a lot of elements to pull together in a relatively quick time frame.
However, the end product is very impressive and it is always great to work on bright colourful displays that create a big impact when all put together!

Case Study: Debenham High School
Schools may be out for summer but the preparation for the new school year is well underway. We produce homework and reading diaries for quite a few school across the county and Debenham High School is a really interesting example.
We have been producing these for 19 years and they contain a lot of information for the students to access throughout the year. From the usual homework diary pages, to merit awards, disciplinary notes, educational resources for every subject and school maps, all separated by colour dividers.
They are a really interesting project to work on and one we are very proud of.
