Celebrating Some Amazing Women……
Just a few ladies that have shaped my life for the better.
Rebecca I so admire what Rebecca has done with her business, it’s been great to see her be so successful. Not only that she is the best neighbour and friend you could ask for, roll on 4 o clock club!
Colline another amazing lady that came into my life quite by chance. Not only is she the most gifted chef but she is one of the kindest most thoughtful people I know. Always thinking of others and creating ways to make life easier for those less fortunate in the Newbury community. A true inspiration!
Nicky the queen of style. Completing Nicky’s styling course gave me the courage to rethink my wardrobe, embrace colour and generally become a more confident me. You are a fashion icon Nicky!
The wonderful the sister (in law) i never had. I am in absolute awe of what you have achieved. Bring on the graduation!
My wonderful Mum…..she’s not on Instagram so won’t see this but not much to say other than best Mum ever.

Colour Blocking……
This week I’m putting together some new colour combinations. Everything is from my wardrobe, nothing new to be seen here but working on the colour blocking theory of 2, 3 or 4 contrasting colours together. It’s a really great way to wear your things a different way.
Yellow & Green today which I’m actually loving. Two contrasting shades of green in the trousers and knit then the pop of yellow. I look like a daffodil!

Sunshine On A Rainy Day……
I really thought it was going to pour hard all day yesterday but the sun did make an appearance and I popped outside for a photo in my parents back garden, I’m sure you are thrilled with a change of scenery!
More stripes for
And dressing up a pair of slouchy trousers with my green blazer. I love this colour green so vibrant and bright. A real good feel good piece. Finishing off the look with my favourite crossbody bag in the pony skin cow print, Moooooooo!

I Folded…..
My plan for January was not to buy anything new. I managed to make it to 23 January. Bum!
Oh well thank think the item in question, this blouse will be worth it. It goes really well with these high waisted trousers, will look equally great with jeans, I also have an electric blue pleated skirt and then there are the pleather pants and shorts. All in all a very versatile piece. See the last photo for a close up of the colour and print.

I Spy With My Little Eye……
A man in a bright orange sweatshirt! look at the reflection in the door and my butt! 😆
Decided to glitz up the shop on Saturday…..sequins aren’t just for Christmas. The key to wearing them in the day time is to pair them with other daytime items so it’s just the sequins that are the focus. Try a knit, Breton top, white shirt or go with denim like me.
I’ve gone with blues rather than black which automatically makes them look more daytime. How do you wear your daytime sequins?

Take A Note Miss Jones…..
I’m starting to spend a few more days in the office now that restrictions have been lifted, I have to say I really like being back in, seeing friends, talking about the weekend and of course choosing an outfit.
Today I’ve gone for leather, spots and checks, you can see the print clash close up on the last photo.
You know I love a print clash and this one is quite subtle because the different prints are in the same colour. A great way to ease yourself into something a little different.

Joining in with and for this weeks which is all about the puffa coat.
You really can’t beat a puffa to keep you snug and warm on a cold winters day. I love the hood on mine.
Underneath I’ve gone for a khaki colour block which a flash of pink and red on my bag strap.

Red or Blue……
One of the things I do when I’m shopping is to work out how many outfits I can create with an item I’m looking to buy, if it’s less than three then I really question if it’s a worthwhile purchase.
This blouse is a prime example of something that can create multiple outfits mainly because it’s made up of several different colours. There are flecks of blue, green, red and pink so can easily go with anything that I already have in those colours.
