The first Mellie Moo post in over 2 years!!

If your kids are anything like mine, simply telling them they're on the nice list is a ticket to chaos for the whole month of December.

Instead they receive a letter telling them their status on the Nice List is under review 😏 a little added incentive to be extra good for the last few weeks of the year.

Options are :
🎅🏻 £5 for the status letter and personalised envelope.

🎄£10 for the full bundle including a Nice List certificate, Nice List guide full of hints on how to earn Nice status, all finished with a festive wax seal.

(P&P not included, pick-up/delivery option available locally).

At the end of last month I had a very last minute opportunity to send some samples off for a mini shoot, and bloody hell was the cost of special delivery worth it to get samples sent in time 🖤

I adore the combination of lavender card and vellum both printed with stunning white ink for a super luxurious finish. I think white ink is my new favourite finish.

I'm so blessed to have first, grown up with an amazing dad and grandad, and then second, to find a husband who is the best example to my 3 beautiful children. We're so lucky for all the love and laughter he brings to our lives and I couldn't imagine life without him 🖤

I've been on holiday this week so I know a few people are waiting on replies to emails - but I've been informed that there have been some technical difficulties with the auto-reply so if it looks like I'm ignoring you, I'm not! Just spending some much needed time with family.

when it comes to choosing names for any stationery I make up for samples or shoots. I don't know what it is, but as soon as I need to choose more than 2 names I draw a blank 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I often find myself defaulting to family. A great example is this place name inspired by my very lovely sister-in-law. I think she's been part of every single styled shoot I've taken part in 😂 🖤

The most creative I get with names is changing up the spelling to try to convince myself it's not the same name over and over 🙈

This absolute babe of a photo is from a styled shoot that took place earlier this year and it's so easy to see why it was also featured recently on Rock My Wedding . Such an insanely talented group of suppliers took part and I'm legit obsessed by every single photo.

I absolutely loved creating this bespoke design for Victoria and Scott's travel themed wedding 😍 I still need to take photos of the full set which was finished with a stunning glitter bellyband which really packed a punch! So watch this space for more photos to come!

I've posted about this a few times but waking up to a negative review for not replying to a message that I've never actually received is not a great feeling 😭
•

When someone sends me a message on Facebook there are currently several things that can happen.

1 (least likely) - it comes through right away and I'm able to reply without any issues.

2 (happens often) - I can see there's an unread message - but when I click on it to read it, it disappears. Meaning I can no longer see who the message is from or what it says. I think when this happens - it shows the message as being read, even though it hasn't. But the act of clicking on the message triggers the read icon - meaning it looks like I'm ignoring you.

3 (also happens often) - I receive the message a few days later and can reply but then my reply disappears. Meaning I think I've finally managed to reply - only for that reply to disappear into a dark internet hole, never to be seen again. Also resulting in it looking like I'm ignoring you.

THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I AM NOT IGNORING YOU 😭
•
But I know it's frustrating for you as well as me, and I'm honestly so sorry it looks this way!
It is taking me longer than normal to reply to messages due to the volume of emails I'm receiving currently and the fact that I'm adjusting to working a new job full time on nightshift.
•
There are also a few people who seem to have forgotten that I'm only one person. I'm not a machine, and I don't have a team of people doing things for me. I'm doing the best I can to work through the order list and for a more efficient service to resume ASAP.
•

•
Please send any enquiries via [email protected]. I will reply as soon as I can. But don't be rude - that sh** won't fly. I've had a few people who thing it's ok to verbally abuse me during this transitional time where I've been more than transparent regarding the situation I'm in. Or levy the threat of bad publicity to force a refund. This kind of behavior is not ok. I love my job and every one of the brides I work with and am working around the clock to make sure I can continue to do this for a long long time to come.
