The ad leads with the fact that top athletes and entrepreneurs are using this to gain an edge.

2. Relevant Influencer.

Using Joe Rogan, someone who their target market know, like and trust (and is an investor in the business as well) builds trust in the product instantly.

3. Curiosity builder.

"It seems to fire up your brain at a higher RPM level".

A comment like this triggers a few things.

First people are thinking "wow, I need that too".

And the are also thinking "How does it fire my brain up at a higher RPM?"

This creates a curiosity loop that you MUST click the ad to resolve.

4. The Offer.

Here they give 30% off and also add below it the line "1000 + 5 star reviews".

This gives further social proof.

But here's the special part.

You still don't go to their sales page if you click the ad.

You head to educational content.

Why? Complex products that have cost a fortune to create and build deserve and need explanations to prospects.

The goal of this first ad isn't to sell.

It's to get the click.

And that is where most ad agencies go wrong on social.

SEO is NOT about selling.

SEO is about educating.

The problem is that SEO agencies try and compete with direct advertising.

They try and 'out PPC'... PPC.

And burn through your budget in the process and come back with an abundance of excuses for why they failed.

The reality is that only 3% of your ideal customers are ready to buy now.

And every big business with vastly larger budgets than you is going after them.

But 37% of your ideal customers are both aware they have the problem that your business fixes AND they are gathering information about how best to solve it.

Great SEO focuses on this 37% to bring them into your digital marketing process.

One that includes retargeting, lead magnets and email marketing.

Great content marketing and advertising help to bring into your process the 60% who aren't problem aware.

Once you are successfully marketing to the 97%.

Make no mistake, investing in SEO is the equivalent of swimming upstream.

It is expensive, takes a long time to work and is full of risk and ups and downs.

So why bother?

Because the visitors to your website from organic traffic are upstream swimmers.

They are people who are proactively researching solutions to their problem.

They aren't asking friends for referrals or going to networking for answers.

They trust and rely on the results that the search engines give them.

And what's more, because they research, they understand what is involved in the service you offer.

They know it has taken years to gain your expertise.

They have mentally compared you against the other search results and are prepared to pay more for what you offer because of your positioning.

You don't need me to tell you this.

You do it yourself when using search engines.

This of course is the aspect of SEO that few talk about.

Brand positioning.

Of course, you can achieve this in a lot of other ways.

But none of those methods compares with SEO on a cost per benefit basis.

In my experience, education leads to better customers.

And SEO leads to customers that are willing to pay more for your services or products.

If you are prepared to invest in SEO, the competition will struggle to keep up!
