Vehicle wrapping UK, new kit in the fleet, same standard applied.
Tom's business had grown, and a new grabber had joined a fleet that had previously been all tippers. It was not simply a case of applying the existing design to a new shape. Different vehicle, different profile, and the brand still needed to look like one fleet rather than four different ones, so the artwork was amended to sit properly on the grabber while staying visually consistent with the rest of Tom's vehicles.
There was a second consideration running underneath that design work. Grabbers operate on highways at speeds the tippers rarely reached, and that changes what is required of the wrap. Chapter 8 chevron markings are not a decorative choice at that point. They are a Department for Transport requirement for vehicles operating at speed on the road network.
So the compliance was built in first, and the branding was designed around it rather than added on afterwards.
It meant the finished vehicle had to work on two levels at once, looking like it belonged to the same business as the rest of Tom's fleet, while meeting the standard required for how it would actually be used on the road.
A business showing up properly, and staying road legal while it does it.
Wraps rooted in quality.
