So I bang on a lot about creating ‘personality packed brand designs’ but what does that actually mean? In my humble opinion, I think the secret source to a brand that packs a personality heavy punch is all in the brand marks.
Along with popping colours, fun fonts and a memorable logo of course! 😌
A personality led brand design should have a little something to it. You could have the wittiest copy out there, but if its paired with a brand design that doesn’t grab anyones attention then, sorry friend! Your wit is impressing no one. Womp womp.
Your brand should feel alive, spark interest, pull people in. Almost like your absolute star customer service employee. Colours and fonts go a looooong way to setting a vibe, tone or aesthetic, a cool logo helps with recognition but I think it’s the brand marks, all those little extras that add in that needed spark, that you can sprinkle around your visuals, that bring things to the next level.
I don’t know how I would complete my content without my stars, arrows, emoji stickers and confetti backgrounds otherwise!?
Brand marks and assets are my favourite part of a brand identity to create and I freely admit sometimes I go too far and provide my clients with way more than they will ever need - ugh! What as***le right? 😉
