Today Captain Kirk goes into space for about 11 minutes. He's bolding going...etc, and he's going to be the oldest Astronaut ever. A massive deal for him, Star Trek, and Jeff Bezos, and amazing PR all round. But it so easily could have been Richard Branson's story. He'd offered him a seat on his rocket, but wanted $$$ for it.

The actor who played Captain Kirk in the classic TV show is due to launch above Earth for real within hours.

We're at the end of the first week of the Tokyo Olympics and we're loving having a bit of team spirit to get excited about again.

There's been a lot of controversy about the BBC not airing as many of the sports as usual after they lost out on the airing bid to USA giants Discovery. Putting something as iconic as the olympics behind a paywall has left a lot viewers pretty disgruntled - although handy hint for you: if you're a SkyQ owner you can get it free!
