Can you spare any free time this weekend to help this event? If so please get in touch with Children's Cancer North as they have been let down at the last minute.
We have been sponsoring this event for the past 12 years and we know how much time and effort it takes by all involved.
We will be on site on Thursday, Friday and Monday helping out with signage in and around the Racecourse.
EDIT: WOW! We have been completely blown away by the way that our community has come together in support of our call for volunteers yesterday. Thank you so much to everyone who's shared our post, reached out to their network, or come forward themselves. We are now thankfully in a position where we can say we think we have enough people to ensure that the Children’s Cancer Run can function as it needs to this weekend. In the words of our charity trustee Prof Sir Alan Craft, ''It's the canny folk of the North East that make this event happen.'' He's not wrong and it still applies today. THANK YOU!🧡

Due to us being let down last minute by a large group of volunteers, we're on the look out for enthusiastic groups or individuals to help us out THIS WEEKEND to ensure our flagship Children's Cancer Run fundraising event is a success!

If you can't commit to the full timings below, we'd still be grateful for any support that you can provide:
- Saturday 16th May, 9.30am-2.00pm at Newcastle Racecourse
- Sunday 17th May, 7.30am-2.30pm at Newcastle Racecourse
Various roles are available, including supporting our course routes and finish line on event day (Sunday), and helping to assemble our runners' snack packs on Saturday. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for volunteers on both days.
