We are beyond devastated to say that our treasured friend and colleague Andrew Nelson passed away on Easter Sunday, Sunday 5th April.
Andrew has been a treasured member of our team for over 3 years. His loss to us as a friend, confidant and colleague is immense.
He was, without question, one of the kindest and most generous men we have had the privilege of knowing. Reliable, steady and an absolute rock to all who knew him.
Andrew was always there for us all without hesitation or question.
He was incredibly protective of his friends and loved ones and you only realise how lucky you are in this life to have a solid and caring ally like Andrew, until they are gone.
Andrew made good friends with so many people he worked with over the years, which is a testament to his beautiful character and caring soul.
If you were lucky enough to be Andrew’s friend, you had on your side a man of character and principle. A man who would stand up for you and offer his protection and loyalty without hesitation or question. He was the first to show up when you needed a friend, the first to reach out and let you know he was there.
We have lost what we cannot afford to lose in this world, a true gentleman.
Our thoughts are with Andrew’s family, especially his beloved daughter Harriet and countless friends.
Andrew will be in our thoughts everyday and please, regardless of religion or creed, send him your love if you are reading this.
Andrews Funeral will be held at St Bedes Chapel, Acklam Crematorium at 12pm. Andrew’s family have asked us to say, all are welcome.
