A new mark for a bigger story.
Over the past few years, we’ve been expanding what we do in order to support artists with the steps beyond the reproduction of their work. One of the most significant changes has been the introduction of our in-house framing department. Many of you have already worked with our resident framer, exploring the possibilities that come from integrating framing into the creative process. As part of this effort to assist artists at every step, we offer content creation to help artists market their work. We can provide insights into the production, showcasing not only the art, but the craft that goes into each and every print. Beyond that, we’ve expanded our existing services further by opening a dedicated silkscreen studio, investing in a next generation large format flatbed printer, and launching a streamlined online ordering system for giclée printing at www.harwoodking.com/order
It felt like the right time for a change, one that reflects the growth of who we are.
Our new logo quietly carries that story, built from shapes symbolising the tools of our craft: A roll of paper and a scalpel for printmaking. A set square and staple for framing. A framed artwork tying it all together. And in the negative space you’ll spot the initials of the name that started it all, HK.
We’ve grown to help artists reproduce and share their work easier, leaving more time for the important bit, creating art.
