Telford College invests more than £1 million in new sixth form centre

Telford College is investing more than £1 million in equipping its new sixth form centre in a programme aimed at "matching the ambition of the young people" it has been built for.

The scale of the investment in the academic environment at Telford 6th, due to complete its transformational build mid-June, was revealed as the college launched a search for a Vice Principal to lead the new A level centre.

Agency announces 'bold' expansion as it marks 15th anniversary

Lots of people say they couldn't do it.

But for us, being partners in life and in business has seen us grow a successful journalist-led PR and marketing consultancy which last year celebrated its best year ever.

Mark Waugh and I set up Be Bold Media in 2011 after I left my role as Business Editor of the Shropshire Star . But we had worked together in a busy newsroom producing eight editions a day for a decade before that too - so certainly a partnership forged in headlines and deadlines!

In 2026, we don't just celebrate 15 years in business but more than 20 working together (and 27 years married!). But in all that time, we've never lost our ambition for our business, for the team we work with and the clients we serve.

We've big plans as part of our 15th anniversary of Be Bold Media - watch this space 😉
