I’ve always designed for accessibility requirements (loosely) by checking colour contrasts, especially with text colours on background colours. Making sure text sizes are readable and structured well.

Obviously with design, clarity should always come first, but sometimes creative or abstract design features don’t always lend themselves to accessibility.

So I’ve been teaching myself “proper” digital document / PDF accessibility, which includes Tagged Structure, a Logical Reading Order, Alternative Text for images and graphics, marking up decorative design feature as “artifacts”, descriptive links and table headers etc

I never knew it went so in depth, complicated to learn at first but the result is so important. Do I have any experts in my network? I feel like an old dog learning new tricks haha....

Another new logo incoming….
Kasha wanted a modern black and white design style for her property maintenance company. After banding round a few ideas and concepts this is the end result.

From a couple of years ago, we absolutely loved working on the design of Olympic Handball Ireland annual report. Their branding and style is really strong so it made the project a lot easier and a lot fun to be honest….
