I bought the skirt. Then I worried the skirt was too young, too see-through, too much!

And then I thought, “What would I have told my clients? If you love it, wear it, enjoy it, there’s no such thing as too young!”

Really hoping doesn’t disappear from our high streets altogether as I can always find something that doesn’t feel frumpy!

When you have things in your wardrobe that you love and you know work, getting dressed can be easy and a joy.
I looked at this dress today and I know son no.1 says he’s seen a lot of it but I thought, “what do I want to wear this evening?” and it was this!

Don’t feel like you have to have new things to feel good! If you choose well, and you’ve fallen in love with pieces you buy, they can last a long time and be worn time and time again.

If you haven’t had a trip to Llanerch Vineyard yet, I’d highly recommend. Food and rooms are total luxury!

A little reminder tonight - you are in charge of your look and you can change anything you like, whenever you like.

You can change your make-up, your hair, your clothes, your patterns, your colours. On any particular day, you can choose who you’d like to be.

When I choose dark neutrals, I’m generally thinking, “No nonsense today! No fluffiness! Here I am, like me or loathe me, don’t mess me around, I’ve reached my limit.”

So even though I’m generally a girly, romantic type, it is useful to have different looks in the wardrobe that I can call upon when I need.

Back from hols this week and though I’ve been quiet, thought I might do a little post about this autumn outfit.

Yes, there’s a lot of black in this outfit and though it’s not my best colour, with the right make-up, I’ve balanced it out.

Yes, there’s animal print which is making a big resurgence this season and it’s great for disguising lumps and bumps!

Yes, I’m wearing sandals but I know this outfit will work equally well with boots. 😁

Yes, this is a lightweight long sleeve top but could be swapped for a cosy jumper when the weather gets colder.

I’m getting a lot of enquiries for styling this week but as most of you know, I now have another job (which makes my life less stressful!) so appointments are few and far between but I still love helping women with their style and confidence when I can.

Out for lunch today celebrating a few things!

1. 9 years since I met Col (my amazing, gorgeous hubby who yet again declined a photo! 😬😂)
2. 5 years since Col’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis meaning as he’s still alive and kicking, he joins the 7% club! 💜
3. 3 weeks in my new job! (Yes it’s full time but I’m still managing to see clients one day a week.)

When life gives you lemons, what do you do?

Me, I tend to pull a funny face, wallow for a day and then get back up and fight!
