⛵️ Round the Island Race 2026

We had the privilege capturing and showcasing all aspects of the race for a second year, taking everything we learned and producing brilliant content.

Watch this video to see how special this event is for our whole Island.

Last Thursday, we held another Rubbish Networking event, this time in East Cowes, in collaboration with WRS

As always, there were a few unexpected finds along the way, including a golf ball, an inflated beach toy and some Match Attax football cards. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped clean up the local area.

And a big thank you to Betapak IOW for providing the equipment and ensuring all the rubbish was disposed of responsibly.

We’re really pleased to see the new Experience Cowes website live and running.

Creating a directory-style website that works for local businesses, visitors and the wider Cowes community isn’t as straightforward as it might seem. There have been a number of attempts over the years to get something like this off the ground, so it’s been great for the NOSY team to support Experience Cowes in successfully bringing their vision to life.

The new website gives people a simple way to discover local businesses, find out what’s happening in Cowes and helping to promote the fantastic events taking place throughout the year.

More importantly, this is just the start. We’re looking forward to seeing the website continue to develop, grow its audience and become an increasingly valuable platform for the community.

Last Friday, we spent the morning exploring Arreton Down with Kate and Jamie from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

From the breathtaking views across the Eastern Yar Valley to the incredible variety of wildlife, it was a reminder of just how special our local landscapes are. We were lucky enough to spot Chalkhill blue, Gatekeeper and Adonis blue butterflies, alongside a huge range of wildflowers and insects.

A big thank you to Kate and Jamie for sharing their knowledge and passion with us. 🦋
