⚓ Newquay Harbour – Early 1900s ⚓

A glimpse back in time at Newquay Harbour in the early twentieth century — when sailing ships lined the quays and a tramway still ran along the harbour edge.

Built in its current form in the first half of the nineteenth century, the harbour was once a hub of trade, fishing, and coastal life. This image captures that working-harbour atmosphere — long before surfboards and summer crowds.
