Fianna's exceptional performance is a testament to her hard work and the visionary guidance of her coaches, Creative Directors Catherine Hughes and Danielle Hughes Quinn from Newry Dance Theatre Arts (NDTA) in Newry. Fianna and Caithlin, part of a distinguished group of five dancers, are not just performers; they are symbols of passion, dedication, and the rich cultural heritage of Ireland. Their journey began at Newry Dance Theatre Arts, a cross-border dance school that has become a beacon of excellence and unity in the world of dance. Founded and meticulously nurtured by Catherine Hughes and her business partner Danielle Hughes-Quinn, the school stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment to fostering talent and breaking boundaries. Newry Dance Theatre Arts has always been more than just a dance school. It's a community, a family, where dreams are built and nurtured.

The , taking place in Prague from June 27 to July 6, will feature an exceptional team from Ireland trained by ( Newry Dance Theatre Arts).

Under the expert guidance of experienced and qualified professionals, these students Fianna, Caithlin, Isla, Leah, and Cadhla will immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of dance styles, ranging from the classical elegance of ballet to the vibrant dynamism of jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, commercial, and more.

Each discipline is imbued with a sense of mastery, technique and artistry and no doubt will make Newry & all of Ireland very proud.

The team, brimming with excitement, is set to depart soon for Prague. Their journey and performances will be regularly updated by Newry Community page, who will be liaising with their NDTA Press Officer on a daily basis to keep the people of Newry informed and engaged with the team's progress.

In addition to the Irish team's participation, the event will see over 6,000 dancers from more than 65 countries competing in various genres of dance at the prestigious Prague Congress Centre otherwise referred to as the (Masters of Ballet Academy). This year’s finals promise to be a spectacular display of global talent and cultural exchange.
