After a busy few months (and year) in tourism it is officially maternity leave time 🎉 I’m looking forward to this new chapter as well as getting married 💒👰‍♀️

Looking forward to the break and attending lots of exciting events and not planning them 😉

I got asked today what my New Years resolution is. I actually sat with the question for so long without answering, I didn’t ignore the person I just sat with the thought. 💭

I feel once a new year comes around people are so quick to judge and criticise themselves. Too big, too skinny, not good enough at something and sometimes we seem to look past what we are good at and what we are doing well - some days are really bloody hard for everyone 😂

This year after a tremendous loss in our family of both our parents and our Aunty we’re focusing on mental health 💪 just to wake up each day and be thankful for what we have (which we have always done) - and like a-lot of people can relate to, it is hard and can be a challenge.

I feel if you wake up and speak about one thing that you are thankful for it will start not only your day right but your year right. 🗣

It’s also okay not to be okay and it’s even more okay to speak up and talk about it. Out with resolutions and critiquing ourselves and be proud of the strength that we have 💪

I was thrilled to help plan the Into Kildare 2024 AGM at Lawlor’s of Naas Hotel with the Into Kildare team and share highlights of past successes and exciting plans for 2025.

A big thank you to Cathaoirleach Joseph Neville and Sonya Kavanagh for your warm welcome to attendees, and to Eoghan Corry for your always-insightful presentation on travel trends.

As always it was great to connect and network with all the businesses in the Kildare Tourism Network.

This was a fantastic event to round up my year before going on maternity leave and I look forward to my return for more exciting activities in Kildare tourism including the KPMG Women’s Irish Open return to Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel and the AMGEN Irish Open in The K Club as well as much more! 🌟

What a fantastic evening at the Silken Thomas in Kildare Town last Friday! 🎉
It was great catching up with Eoghan Corry as always and having an open discussion on tourism, Budget 2025, and getting valuable insights into the recent cap at Dublin Airport. 🛫

I also really enjoyed connecting with members of the Kildare tourism network and hearing their perspectives and input on the industry.

I never leave without learning something in events like this 🌟

🌟 What a fantastic day at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone with the EU Just Transition Group on Monday! 🌟
We had insightful presentations from industry experts and valuable discussions on the future of tourism. I was initially nervous about starting this project while five months pregnant, but after Monday I’m excited to dive into the upcoming courses and all the learning opportunities ahead in the next few months!
A big thank you to Fáilte Ireland for organising such an impactful session, as always, it is a pleasure working with you! 🙌
