Chris Booth popped in last week to photograph her ahead of a feature in the next Aycliffe Business Park magazine.

Whereā€™s Ian been now?

This time, Neave went too!

Earlier this week, they headed to MarTech North East for a conversation that went beyond the latest shiny bit of tech.

The panel explored which digital tools genuinely help their businesses - and where some ended up creating more work than they solved. They also tackled the hot topic of the room right now: how AI is changing the creative industry.

AI can speed up processes and open new possibilities, but can it replace the ideas, experience and human judgement behind great creative work? We donā€™t think so.

A big thank you to Maxine Fox, Ross Palmer, Lara Mellor and Charlotte Nichols for sharing their perspectives, and to Caroline Hagan behind the event.

Networking with a tour thrown in ā›³

Last Thursday, Andrew headed to ā€˜Tee & Coffeeā€™ at The Pin, hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses and Business Enterprise Fund North East.

It was a great morning meeting local business owners, catching up with familiar faces and hearing from the guest speakers.

The guided tour around The Pin was a fantastic addition too, and certainly made a change from networking in a conference room!

Thanks to everyone involved for a brilliant event.

The Great North Run weekend is here, and weā€™re proud to be backing MISSEDABEAT FOUNDATION šŸ’™ā¤ļø

Digital Edge supports the charity throughout the year, and are proud to have also sponsored the MISSED A BEAT marquee, helping Mark continue the great work providing and maintaining defibrillators in communities across the UK.

This weekend, 25 junior runners will represent MISSED A BEAT on Saturday, followed by almost 50 runners taking on the Great North Run on Sunday.

Team DE welcomed a very important visitor this weekā€¦ Woody!

Hannah brought him into the office for the day, and he settled straight into agency life - making friends, supervising meetings and ensuring everyone took the occasional screen break.

Some partnerships mean much more than putting your logo on something.

Digital Edge is proud to support MISSED A BEAT year after year. The charity installs and helps maintain defibrillators in communities, sports clubs and public spaces, making this life-saving equipment more accessible when it is needed most.

This Sunday, its fantastic team of runners will take on the Great North Run to raise money and awareness for that work.

We are sponsoring the MISSED A BEAT runnersā€™ tent, giving the whole team a base where they can come together before and after the run.

This is exactly why we continue to support the charity: to provide practical help that allows Mark and his team to keep making a real difference.

Weā€™ll provide the tent. The runners are doing the difficult bit.

Yesterday was presentation day!

Over the past few weeks, Neave and Simon Clayton have been working behind the scenes to refine an exciting direction for Digital Edge.

Yesterday, it was finally time to put it in front of some of the team.

We canā€™t share everything just yet - where would the fun be in that? - but there were plenty of ideas, some brilliant conversations and a lot to feel excited about.
