Aycliffe Business Park and Business Durham hosted their news and networking event at South West Durham Training on Friday.

It was a busy agenda starting with Stuart Johnson Chief Executive Officer at SWDT who provided a welcome along with an overview of how SWDT are engaging with local businesses.

Matthew Walls from Durham City Police then updated us on the plans for managing crime on the business park and Ben Gilhespy spoke about flying the flag for the region and the importance of EMCON for our area.

The morning finished with an inspiring presentation from David Osborne on the story of Roman Ltd detailing it's market sectors, products, supply chain, expertise and exporting worldwide.

The event provided local businesses with a fantastic opportunity to network.
