Delighted to be involved with both Magna Radio and Lincoln Laughs

We made the announcement! 🗣️

For those of you who couldn't tune in this morning, we're proud to be the headline sponsor for a NEW city-wide comedy festival coming to Lincoln this October.

We've been working with Red Shoe Entertainment and are excited to announce Magna presents Lincoln Laughs

This morning, John Marshall welcomed Lee, Lizzie (both from Red Shoe Entertainment) and comedian Samantha Day to the studio for the announcement.

Samantha will be one of a number of comedians coming to Lincoln for a weekend of comedy. You'll be spoilt for choice with over 25 venues already signed up!

Other comedians include Bobby Davro and Henning Wehn.

We haven't even announced the headline act yet...

There's something else too... Lee announced that Magna are also providing the opportunity for one lucky person to be the support act for the (yet to be announced) headline act, as we search for the next up and coming comedian (hopefully from our region)...

Last thing... Station Founder - Tom P is VERY keen that we bring events like this to Lincolnshire and to support our local economy.

Today we were proud to support Magna Radio at the Magna Fam event at the YMCA Showroom.

Tom, Char and Callum were there showcasing how local businesses can get involved with Magna and use local radio to get their message heard across Lincolnshire.

It was great to speak with so many business owners, share what Magna is building, and explain how partnerships can work in a practical way.

We were proud to support the The Penfold Players production of Sleeping Beauty.

We used the opportunity to shout about some local clients.

Better still, it was Harry’s first pantomime.

We’re sponsoring Sleeping Beauty – The Panto of Your Dreams, performed by the Penfold Players this January.

Our support covers the full programme, including our logo on the front and a full inside page. The show runs Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 January 2026, with tickets available for £12 through the box office on 01522 792144.

If you want a local evening out in the new year, this is a solid choice. The cast always put on a good show and it’s great to back a community group doing something creative.

Tom took part in the Lincoln Santa Fun Run while we supported the event as one of the sponsors.

A great turnout, a good atmosphere, and plenty of local charities supported through the day.

Good to be involved in something positive in the city.

The Santa Fun Run is back in Lincoln, and we’re one of this year’s sponsors, supporting a long list of local charities through the event.

On Sunday 14 December you’ll see hundreds of Santas running from Castle Square to Minster Yard.

Tom will be one of them, dressed up and taking part on behalf of Lincolnshire Marketing.

Your ticket supports every charity involved, from Lincolnshire NHS Charity to Marie Curie and many others.

If you’re heading into the city that morning, come and cheer everyone on.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of stories, history and plenty of laughs.

It was great to bring people together outside the usual networking setting and try something a little different.

We’re also really proud to share that, thanks to everyone who attended, we’ve raised £165 for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

The charity covers 3,500 square miles across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, responded to over 1,400 incidents in 2024, and needs around £13 million every year to stay operational.

Every contribution genuinely makes a difference and we’re grateful to play a small part in supporting their work.
