Marketing is a HUGE area to tackle as an e-commerce business. Mapping out a marketing calendar is essential for staying organised, ensuring consistency, and optimising your efforts throughout the year.
Most of my clients have a focus on social media, email and influencer marketing, so here are some of the tips I give them:
β
Define your goals: Are you aiming to increase sales, grow your email list, or improve brand awareness? Having clear objectives helps you prioritise your marketing activities.
β
Align goals with seasons: Consider the best times of the year to promote specific products (e.g., holiday season, back-to-school sales, etc.).
β
Utilise a content calendar: Plan blog posts, social media content, influencer posts, email newsletters, videos, and other creative content in advance. Include relevant dates such as public holidays, product launch dates, or seasonal events.
β
Leverage key shopping dates: Mark special shopping days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, and Valentineβs Day on your calendar. Consider both sales and content strategies for these periods, such as discounts, bundles, or themed product promotions. If using influencer marketing, make sure deadlines are clear!
If the marketing tasks are building up, let me support you and ease the overwhelm! We can tackle these tasks together and ensure 2025 is the year you thrive! π
