Back from the most incredible family holiday ☀️

Holidays always give you a new perspective on things don’t they?

You quickly realise how incredibly burnt out you were, and I definitely was! It’s so hard to take breaks when you run your own business, but the last week has reminded me how crucial it is too.

I feel reset and ready to go now!
(Even if I am missing the all inclusive, sun sea life already 🤫)

What freelancing with a 3 year old looks like ✌🏻

Working for yourself with young kids can be tough.

They don’t really understand the need to “work” and our daughter is such a live wire she just wants to play play play.

But she also loves to craft! So sometimes setting her up to get creative next to me is the perfect solution ☺️

Who knows one day she might lead this ‘advennture’ 😉💚

But having already worked Saturday and Sunday off the long weekend I’m taking the chance to switch the emails off for a day and enjoy some family time.

I first spoke to this new customer late Tuesday afternoon. We had a good chat about her requirements and I felt confident I could help within her small budget.

Roll forward 72-hours and it’s done, dusted, kippers and custard! And here’s what she had to say 🔥
