How not to do it! We were contacted by someone to redo a vehicle urgently as needed for a race weekend but had only recently been done elsewhere. Before I elaborate, I will stress this was NOT us & nor was it a company in Norwich or the surrounding area so don’t panic if you’ve just had a job done elsewhere nearby. We have photo shopped out any identifying graphics to save the companies identity but honestly cannot believe an established business thinks this is ok (yes this was a proper company & not a DIY job done on a driveway like it looks).

This is what happens within a matter of weeks if the incorrect vinyl is used, installed incorrectly & rushed. Vinyl has lifted & distorted, its not been wrapped around panel edges or under trims / handles, straight lines have not been machine cut or cut with knifeless tape, countless bubbles under the graphics, overlaps are sloppy & not hidden in panel joins or swage lines, edges left unfinished & unstuck so exposed edges are defintely not sealed, plus its been done in such small sections to get the most out of the cheap vinyl that it looks like a patchwork quilt.

We will post photos of the repairs which we have now completed in a few weeks time but for now, enjoy having a scroll through these beauties (photos of how the car arrived, THIS IS NOT OUR WORK)...

Not our usual bag but when someone drops are car off & before leaving, casually drops into conversation ‘can you just’, this is the result.

Set of wheels plasti dipped to give them a fresh look in matte black.

This is not a process we would normally use for alloys but if you have a set that need jazzing up for track or a rally stage then this is certainly a cheaper way of tackling the job. Its a shame to have lovely new livery then the car let down with scabby wheels so give us a shout if you’re booking your car in & we can tackle both jobs at the same time!

When its 30 degrees outside & no one wants to clean any cars as its ‘too hot’ & ‘it will dry too fast’. Lets face it, we can’t blame them for it either but there must be a better option!

The solution? A fully air conditioned wash bay. No issues for us today working in a barmy 19 degrees. Ok, the unit isn’t quite ready but its good enough to get the job done & keep the customers happy.

Watch this space for regular updates & the hopefully completed project in the coming weeks. Availble to rent on a day or weekend rate.
