The Norwich Kitty name derives from an idea that is intended to help local pubs and businesses alike, the Kitty represents the funds raised to create events. It combines the structure and convenience of a business directory with the fun and social aspects of a networking club and aims to bring both elements together for the first time. Business networking can be an expensive especially if you join
a few networking groups, although the return in business can make it worth while. Our aim to give better value for money by creating more events at more convenient locations and at a sensible time. All this will be delivered at a much lower price point than our competitors. Our aim is to provide a minimum of 1 event per week, each costing less than a the price of a pint of beer. The time spent networking has to be practical and early morning meetings are hardly when we are at our best, lunchtime events disrupt the flow of your working day and evening events are great if you haven't got a social life. The Norwich Kitty networking holds meetings that naturally dovetail on to the end of your day so you still get home at a reasonable hour. Networking meetings will be strictly for networking only with no timewasting exercises. Our task is to put you in touch with other members. Along with our fantastic networking events we are working on a business forum that will allow you to talk to other companies. Why not invite them to a forthcoming Kitty event or use the forum to touch base with them following a recent meeting? Better still if you have an offer you would like to pass on then publicise it on the forum to gain maximum exposure! The problem with existing networking events is that they are too few and far between meaning any rapport you have worked at building up has well and truly dwindled before the next meeting takes place. The Norwich Kitty will aim to provide at least one networking event a week from its launch in September allowing Networking to become more accessible, more regular and therefore more natural for its members.
