So you know what Race to Base is and who's involved. But the most important part is the why.

Community Sports Foundation do some amazing work around Norwich, supporting and inspiring people in our communities. But what does that mean in practice? Well, quite a lot, actually. Roxy kindly talked us through some of the many things the charity does and how many people it supports each year (over two full football pitches' worth).

From dementia support to veterans' sessions and support for disabled people to live with confidence, their work goes further than the people attending the amazing Nest facility. It's support for families, projects, communities and beyond that makes them a fantastic cause to celebrate and get behind.

Their one ask for anyone watching this video or reading this? Well, it doesn't have to be money, even sharing, liking or commenting on content, sharing fundraisers and coming to see what they are doing in the Nest.

It's not JUST about the big joyful moments. We know it's tough out there for businesses right now.

The good moments are easy, we love celebrating those with our clients. But the bit that means the most to you is having someone there if things get difficult. When the results are not where they need to be, when the plan needs to change, when you are not sure what the next step looks like. Helping with your strategy, working on pivots and changes, campaigns and content to help get you back on track.

That is when having the right people around you really counts. Someone who is invested in how your business is doing, not just ticking boxes on a marketing report.

We'll be there before you know it.

There's still time to sign up and join in the fun for our Race to Base challenge. You don't need any experience, you just need a vague sense of direction. One person on the team with that is plenty, as long as everyone listens to them. You can't really go wrong, because if you drift too far off the path, Meg will be along to guide you back to base.

We had a chat with one of our teams from Atkinson Moss Ltd and they are feeling pretty confident they will beat the challenge.

We are so pleased to be finalists in the Creative Agency of the Year category. It might sound trite to say it was stiff competition, but it really has been. These awards are filled with brilliant creative work, and we can't believe we've made it this far. We couldn't be prouder of what our team brings to everything they do, every day.

We asked ours what they wish they saw less of on websites, and honestly, we're with them on a lot of this. A few things are seriously common, even on sites that look the part.

So if you want to make your dev team's day, share this with whoever looks after your website and drop a casual "can we sort these?" in their inbox. Consider it an act of kindness.
