YES, SIZE MATTERS! And more than ever on Instagram, in 2026.

Weโ€™ve officially entered the era of the 3:4 Ratio. If youโ€™re still posting squares (1:1), youโ€™re leaving engagement on the table.

But what is actually different?

BIGGER SPACE -> The new 3:4 and 4:5 formats occupy up to 30% more space on the feed. More space = more time spent looking at your post = a happier algorithm. Win-win, I would say.

Of course, in a world of fast scrolling, full-screen (9:16), and tall vertical reels and stories are the best way to grab attention before itโ€™s gone.

The Art of Brand Alignment. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

When your aesthetic language is clear, your identity becomes unmistakable. You move away from the "noise" of social media into a space of intentionality.

On top of that, I bet youโ€™re exhausted from trying to keep up with every 3-second trend. This is your sign to stop.

How can you tell that your brand is aligned? The signs are clear:

- An aesthetic that speaks for you before you even say a word. You're not "just another profile" but a built Brand Identity.

- Soul-aligned clients. You're attracting clients who get you and your business.

- Steady growth, that feels like a natural evolution, not a desperate climb.

If your brand feels like it's wearing someone else's clothes (or let's face it, YOU don't even like it), then it's time for a tailor-made strategy.

Not sure how to do that? I'm here to help brands leave a legacy.

Starting April 2026, Meta is introducing Location Fees.

If you advertise in these countries, your costs are about to go up.

Hereโ€™s the catch:
These fees are based on where your audience is, not where your business is registered. Even if you're a US or Romanian company, if your ads are shown to someone in Austria (5% fee) or the UK (2% fee), you pay the surcharge.

What this means for your strategy:

1๏ธโƒฃ The invisible CPM hike: These fees won't show up in your Ads Manager columns (like CPC or ROAS). Theyโ€™ll appear only on your final invoice. This means your real profitability is lower than what the dashboard says.

2๏ธโƒฃ Margin squeeze: If you're working with tight margins or high-volume scaling, that extra 2-5% can be the difference between profit and loss.

3๏ธโƒฃ Reporting gaps: Data will become harder to compare. A 2 ROAS in 2025 isn't the same as a 2 ROAS in 2026 because of these hidden off-platform costs.

If you run Meta ads in Europe, now is the time to:

- Revisit budget allocation by market

- Adjust your targets

- Factor these extra costs into your reporting

Itโ€™s not a game-changer on its own, but in performance marketing, every percent counts.

Why "Paid Media" isn't just a fancy word for spending money.

We often hear that the best things in life are free. In business, "free" usually means organic reach - posting on your page and hoping people see it. While thatโ€™s great for building a community, itโ€™s often way too slow.

If you want to grow massively, Paid Media (ads on Facebook, Instagram, or Google) is arguably the smartest investment you can make.

1. You stop playing "Hide and Seek".
Nowadays, social media platforms are crowded. When you post organically, only a tiny fraction of your followers actually see it. Paid media acts like a megaphone - it ensures your message actually lands in front of people, instead of getting lost in the algorithm.

2. You pick your "Crowd".
Imagine being able to walk into a room and talk only to people who are already interested in what you sell. Thatโ€™s what paid ads do. You can choose to show your content only to people of a certain age, in a specific city, or with specific hobbies. You aren't wasting breath on people who aren't your fit.

3. Itโ€™s a "Faucet," not a "Waterfall".
The best part? You have total control. You donโ€™t need a massive budget to start. You can turn the "faucet" on with a few dollars a day to see what works, and if it doesn't, you just turn it off. Itโ€™s about being predictable, not lucky.

The Bottom Line
Paid media isn't an "expense" - it's an accelerator. It takes the great work youโ€™re already doing and puts it in front of the right eyes at the right time.

Last yearโ€™s reality check: No one wakes up wanting to read a 'marketing' email or post. We ALL want to read a message from someone who gets us.

I spent a lot of time looking at my own inbox and my own habits. I noticed how quickly I delete emails that sound "mechanical" and how fast I scroll past posts or adverts that feel like they were written by a robot (probably they actually were!).

It made me stop and think. Why do we, as marketers, sometimes fall into this trap?

We get so focused on professional templates and perfect formulas that we forget the most important thing: on the other side of the screen, THERE IS A REAL PERSON.

From now on, Iโ€™m asking myself these questions before I hit 'send' / 'post':

- Would I actually want to read this?
- Does this add value, or is it just noise?
- Is this helpful, relevant or just spam?
- Is it relatable?

Yeah, it's a big lesson. I am also a customer. And as a customer, I hate being spammed.

I believe getting to know the person behind the profile is just as important as the expertise they bring. โ˜€๏ธ So, letโ€™s peel back the curtain a bit and let you in on my world!

This is my command center, where ideas turn into campaigns, and data turns into growth. Sometimes it's organized, other times itโ€™s chaotic, but it works just fine. โ˜บ๏ธ

Now, Iโ€™d love to know: Where does your best work happen?

๐Ÿ”ต Construction site (I can hear the sound of progress!).

๐Ÿ”ต High-tech room full of multiple monitors and gadgets (A developer, a designer?).

๐Ÿ”ต A lab full of medical instruments (Saving lives and making breakthroughs!).

๐Ÿ”ต A cozy home-office corner (The WFH dream!).

๐Ÿง  The Psychology behind Black Friday: ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ˆ๐† ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ

Why do we all lose a little self-control when facing Black Friday deals? It's not magic -

As marketers, we must understand that the "magic" stems from three extremely powerful cognitive triggers: Urgency, Scarcity, and Anchoring.

Urgency: A ticking clock activates, AKA Fear of Missing Out. Drives fast action.

2๏ธโƒฃ Scarcity: Makes the product highly desired. Messages like "Only 3 left in stock!" instantly raise the perceived value and spark competition.

3๏ธโƒฃ Anchoring: Makes prices feel irresistible. When you see "Was 199, now 89," your brain registers a HUGE saving, not necessarily the true value.

Stop blaming marketing. ๐Ÿ™

If your productโ€™s average, marketing wonโ€™t save it.
If your offerโ€™s unclear, ads will just spread the confusion.
If your pricingโ€™s off, marketing will expose it, not fix it. ๐Ÿ“ฃ

You canโ€™t expect a ยฃ500 ad spend to fix a bad conversion rate.
You canโ€™t run one email campaign and expect loyal customers.
You canโ€™t ignore your brand for five years and then wonder why people donโ€™t trust you.

Marketing isnโ€™t magic, itโ€™s a megaphone. โ•
If whatโ€™s behind it isnโ€™t strong, all it does is make the flaws louder.

Because if your product, brand, or processes arenโ€™t ready, marketing will only speed up failure. ๐Ÿคฏ

Iโ€™ve seen businesses with incredible products blow up because they listened, learned, and improved.
And Iโ€™ve seen others burn through thousands because they thought marketing was a plaster, not a plan. ๐Ÿ’ท

Stop expecting miracles and start building something worth shouting about.
Because marketing doesnโ€™t fix bad businesses, it exposes them. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป

Instagram's CEO confirmed it. Hashtags are a thing of the past. โŒ

The algorithm has changed - it doesnโ€™t care how many hashtags you use, it cares about how long people stay with your content.

Save this post to remind yourself and share it with a friend who still uses 30 hashtags.
