An inspiring Laptop Club morning, celebrating wins and brewing new ideas with Rachel - Travel / Lifestyle / Family! ☕️

I had such a good catch‑up with fellow member Rachel this morning at Coffee World in Histon.

Her recent social media post about celebrating with Arsenal – and bravely sharing an unpopular opinion – went viral. 💫

Over coffee, we unpacked what that actually felt like: the excitement, the wobblier bits, and all those messy bits in between.

Rachel was feeling a bit unsure about how to build on that momentum and what to post next, so we rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into it.

We have been bouncing around ideas, digging into a few content directions for her in more detail, and have hopefully turned one viral moment into a clear, thoughtful plan – all over a couple of lattes. 🫶

This is EXACTLY what is for: an accountability space where you can explore ideas, say what’s really going on in your business - confidentially - and feel genuinely supported as you head into a new week (and a new month).

And honestly, this is my favourite part of what I do – sharing my love of content creation, and helping a small business owner untangle what’s in her head and turn it into content that actually has purpose. TAKE THAT OVERWHELM!!! 💪

This week I headed to at and wanted to try something a little different to share my love of Canva and my Playshops… 💐

I created a template simply titled “Let’s build a community garden” and asked every single person I met at the networking event to add an element to my garden… 🪏

Just wow - swipe to see what was added - it’s super cute and this is how I will be networking from now on haha - it’s fun, a great ice breaker and I even got to show off some of my knowledge as we went - much more useful than thrusting a business card into their hands. 🙌

Massive congratulations to the winners and runners up at today - that was a really lovely afternoon and I feel so proud of my friends and fave teams who celebrated their wins today! 🥂

, AND has so much passion and talent when it comes to hospitality and today is just a slither of that story! How LUCKY are we?!… 🎉

What I also loved, was being there to cheer on patisserie with the lovely Tom at - thank you for inviting me as your eye candy you lovely human being! 🤭🤣🫶✨ (And keep your eyes peeled for and his next ventures - exciting times!) ☕️🫖

It feels like so long ago I was in Cambridge as my alter ego, , hosting pop-up afternoon tea events - in fact it was over 10 years ago now!!! 😅 - but it was so good to bump into some ever so supportive faces from back in my foodie days - including who used to let me bake and host from her kitchens & fellow Cambridge Bake Off judges and - a lifetime ago, but we are all still doing our unique things - this makes me feel the MOST proud! 🥹

Here’s to another great year in hospitality, especially locally for us - go support your local bars, cafes, restaurants, venues - they need our support and love more than ever! 💞
