I offer playful Back-To-Basics Social Media Coaching, Mentoring + Workshops for small businesses. I truly believe that getting back to the basics of social media is so important, especially with so much noise out there when it comes to content marketing - this is exactly what I am here to help you with; understanding the fundamentals! With 20 years of experience in blogging, customer service, marketing + social media support, I have 3 unique areas of expertise; Social Media Coaching, Social Media Management + Content Creation. However, I also offer a FREE community worldwide, both online and in person, offering accountability, connection + inspiration for those (predominantly female) creatives, entrepreneurs and business owners who feel daunted or a little lost within a universe of online marketing + social media!

After a few weeks on the road exploring Scotland, we stopped at somewhere I’ve had on my campervan hotlist for sometime… Kip and Nook in Yorkshire. 💘✨

This was very much a treat pitch for the night - spending £87 on a private hot tub pitch (with one dog and a pre-lit hot tub to warm up after a rainy few days!) - we used their autumn discount, so it did save us 10% on the usual price.

The hot tub is wood fired and was far too hot by the time we got there - oops - our bad, but couldn’t fault it, but the rain was relentless and carried on with us all night - it was a testing last night trying to enjoy the pitch whilst also trying to keep our mattress dry on the van - small van dramas haha. ☔️

The food was incredible, the team super friendly and the communal spaces really fun and dog friendly!

Perhaps we should’ve stretched to a cabin for the night, but never mind… 🫣

I’ve been awol - I took some much needed time (and still am until Monday, because I’m trying to stick to my boundaries 😆) - but I’ve missed sharing and creating, I won’t lie. 💫

I’ve been so lucky lately, the past few months have seen me enjoying a mix of amazing creative and networking opportunities, markets, fayres and talks, but also filming sessions with some incredible human beings - you all know who you are!

I’m back properly this week after 3 weeks away (some of that was still working, but still, it feels like I’ve been out of the loop for months!) - so to all those waiting for responses to emails, they’ll come this week. And to those waiting on their content, it’ll be with you very shortly. 🫶✨

And to those who would like to discuss some filming over the next couple of months, I’m back and ready to connect - I’d love to hear your ideas and make some plans with you, do get in touch. ☎️

There’s a photo on your phone right now that would make a better post than ANYTHING you could type into an AI generator. 📸

Kerry found hers at a recent Canva Playshop I hosted at The Ely Work Collective. 🌿 A tin of olives on a worksurface… nothing styled, nothing set up.

She photographed it, then made six different graphics out of it in Canva, and every choice in them was hers.

That’s the bit I want small business owners to sit with. Not that AI is bad — Canva’s tools are genuinely useful. It’s that a prompt has to IMAGINE the thing you’re trying to show people.

But, spoiler alert: you’ve ALREADY got the thing. You’ve had it the whole time.

So: pick one object from your business.

The most ordinary one. Photograph it badly. Crop it close, colour behind it, one big word on top. Twenty minutes and you’ve got a week of posts that couldn’t have come from anyone else’s feed but yours. 🙌
