Here’s a fun experiment. When first received the offer to race with Player’s in Atlantic and Indy, they requested he swaps his helmet colours to match their brand colours. (Think Greg Moore, and Patrick Carpentier.) Jacques famously never changed his helmet design EVER! He said no and was ready to go back to racing in Japan.

In the end, Player’s agreed, but here’s a view at an alternative past where Villeneuve DID change his helmet to match the car.

If anyone needs any clean, bold ideas for 2025, drop me a message. I’m really keen to get this style of helmet design back out there. Let’s try and create something that can easily be draw by a young fan, just like how I used to draw my favourite helmets as a child. Something that can hopefully one day be added to the iconic helmet list of Senna, Mansell and Hill.

asked me to come up with a design for his client Simon Fish, to match his beautiful Arrows A4 F1 car. I wanted to retain some shapes from Simon’s previous designs, but switch the colours to match the car and introduce a new design. The orange and white grid from the side pods was also used as a base. Really happy with how it looks and Richard did a great job with painting it.

My own design was the first helmet design I posted in my feed, so I thought I’d apply my design to my latest Arai GP-6 RC template.

I believe in clean and bold designs. The best, most iconic designs in history can be drawn by a 10 year old fan, just like how I drew helmets when I was younger.

I can finally reveal ’s helmet for Le Mans.

An undated and slightly simplified evolution of Nick’s previous design, using silver and a darker red flake. .motorsport’s heritage colours run over the top, with a single stripe of each representing famous Porsches from their racing past.

I’m over the moon to to show off ’s helmet for the Indy 500. Katherine requested a blue .rentals themed helmet, completely different from her previous designs. I went for a retro themed design which was expertly painted by the legendary . Really happy with how all the partners and sponsors were integrated including United Rentals’ curves in the blue.
