TL;DR I've lost my voice. Today's show is still going ahead, sans me singing, on a free in/pass the hat basis. Show will be rescheduled.

Well, as seems to be becoming a pattern for our tours this year, Murphy has struck again and stolen my voice. I thought that if I dosed myself up and rested after Fridays show I might be able to power on through the last one of the run but alas, this has not been the case.
Needless to say I'm unbelievably upset to not get to play the final night of what's been a really brilliant tour. Notts is always one of my favourite places to play and I'm gutted not to be able to get up on that stage today. The part of me that's feeling sorry for myself wants to lay it on thick with the 'woe is me', but the part that gets annoyed by that sort of thing is winning out, so suffice to say that I'm going to be in a strop about this for weeks.
I'm extremely sorry I can't play, I hate letting people down, but there's unfortunately nothing to be done about it. On the plus side, you'll be getting longer sets from Joe Solo and Matt Johnson Music. Matt has also promised some interpretive dance.
We're gonna reschedule the show with the three of us for a later date so keep hold of your t!ckets if you can. Today's show will now be free in and we'll be passing the bucket to cover Joe and Matt.
