My history with Stuck On A Name Studios goes back to before it even existed, when it was just Boulty and myself tracking bands from the spare bedrooms of his terraced house in Radford. When Boulty took on the lease for the first unit in Roden House I put in countless hours on the construction of what became SOAN. There's barely a square metre of the place that doesn't have some of my handiwork in it.

It was at SOAN that Giant Iron Face was born as well. Starting out in a little-used corner of the studio what began as a hobby eventually became a business. Eventually the needs of that business outgrew the available space at SOAN so we went our separate ways. But I was still in there every week to play with whatever bands I happened to be in at the time.

Boulty’s opening of SOAN gave us all a place to practice, record and play. A place to rage at mind blowing gigs, party or just feel that sense of community, of belonging.
Now is the time to return the favour. With the pandemic limitations in place, the studio has lost almost all of it's income (practice, recording) but still faces rent and energy bills. Without our help, the future is doubtful.

We are not going to let this happen! So, a bunch of us, local promoters, musicians, and general enthusiastic individuals, are organising so we can raise the necessary ongoing funds.

This GoFundMe is being set up to collect one-offs donations from supporters, your donations will be used to support the studio’s finance but also to kick start more sustainable revenue streams such as merch, live stream from the studio, etc.

Messed up the positioning on my first try but this still looks sick. These are Vanilla Subli pocket tees. 100% cotton but with a polyester pocket and yoke (that’s the bit where the size tag goes) for full colour sublimation printing.

Hi all. I've just recieved word that one of my main suppliers will resume shipping of orders from the 23rd of April. So I should be able to start printing once again, with a few caveats. Namely:

Stock orders will face delays in turnaround from my suppliers of 2-5 working days. So this, alongside the fact that my orders have fallen off a cliff since lockdown began, means I will not be going back to full-time operation yet. Turnaround for printing could be up to 14 working days, as I'll need to pool any stock orders to avoid losing money in shipping small quantities. That said, drop me a DM or an email to [email protected], and I should hopefully be able to sort it out and get back to work again.

Hey all, just an update to let you know I’m still printing (for now). Hopefully recent updates from our glorious leaders are giving you much needed reassurance in these troubled times. Unfortunately for those of us that are self-employed sole traders it’s looking like the situation is far, far from rosy. So I hope you’ll see your way to keeping us in mind if you need any merch doing. No pressure.
