We thought it was about time we re-introduced ourselves! 👋

So, hello from the people behind the marketing.

Most days you'll find us working on a mixture of strategies, campaigns, social media, websites, emails, content, events, design and everything else that comes with being an outsourced marketing team.

And honestly? That's exactly why we enjoy it.

No two days, or clients, are ever quite the same.

We're a small team, and we're proud of that.

It means we get to properly know the businesses we work with, understand what they're trying to achieve and get stuck in wherever we're needed.

Sometimes that's the big-picture strategy. Sometimes it's rolling our sleeves up and getting something done.

Usually, it's a bit of both!

So, while you'll normally see us talking about our clients or marketing, here's a rare moment with us on the feed instead.

September always feels a little bit like the second January, doesn’t it?

Summer is (almost!) behind us, everyone’s getting back into routine and suddenly there are only four months left of 2026. 👀

So, how’s that marketing plan looking?

Think back to the start of the year…

👉 What did you want to achieve?
👉 What have you actually managed to get done?
👉 What’s been sitting on the “we’ll get to that” list?
👉 And what would make the biggest difference between now and the end of the year?

This isn’t your reminder to panic and try to squeeze a year’s worth of marketing into four months.

It’s your reminder that there’s still plenty of time to make those four months count.

Pick the priorities. Make a plan. And get the right things moving.

Emily Roberts and I have had a fab day at the Entrepreneurs Circle Convention at the ICC Birmingham and we’ve already picked up a few golden nuggets!

After a great start last night at the launch party, today has been all about listening, learning and taking plenty of notes, with insights from Rory Sutherland, James Ashford& Alex Depledge. John Volanthan was inspiration with an amazing story to tell!

Lots of ideas already bubbling away, and plenty to take back and put into action!

One of the things I love about days like this is getting out of the day-to-day, hearing different perspectives and coming away with fresh thinking for both Creationz Marketing, us personally and our clients.

Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings for Day 2!!

We’re always telling our clients how important it is to keep their marketing consistent.

And yet our own social media has been looking a little… quiet. 😬

Why? We’ve been busy doing exactly what we love - working on our clients’ marketing.

From strategy and social to websites, email, content, design and everything in between, client work took over and our own marketing kept getting moved to the bottom of the list.

We’re guessing a few other business owners can relate to that one!

So, it’s time we took some of our own advice.

That's why I'm thrilled to share that I've become the new EC Local Nottingham Ambassador, taking over from Greg Simpson at Press For Attention PR Ltd, who has done a fantastic job leading the Nottingham community.
