The team received a warm welcome during our first visit to the beautifully refurbished Hammerwich Crematorium & Cemetery in Staffordshire this week.

Owned and managed by our long-standing client A.W. A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, Hammerwich has undergone a full rebrand and had substantial facilities investment.

Emily, Ryan and Daniela spent the morning understanding more about the site's customers and wider surrounding community first hand and came away with several very newsworthy pieces to add to the national conversation around the grave space crisis and bariatric funeral planning.

We do love to see our clients in person, it really contributes to how our content continues to grab national headlines.

15 interviews, multiple 'envelope opening' re-runs and happy tears everywhere we looked!

We've been managing media relations for our client Archway Learning Trust today at its Bluecoat Aspley Academy as students received their A Level and T Level results. What a rewarding morning its been.

ITV Central , BBC Nottingham and Notts TV all joined us to capture the big smiles, as the school celebrated an outstanding set of T Level results in particular. 100% of students who took the qualification are going on to their first choice of uni and many got distinctions.

Inspiring the next generation 🧠

Recently, we welcomed Archie Watton to the Eden office for a week of work experience with the team.

Archie, having recently completed his Sixth Form mock exams at Nottingham Free School, is at a pivotal point in deciding his future career path and was eager to gain insight into the world of PR.

The team warmly welcomed him, guided him through the day-to-day, and gave him hands-on experience across a range of areas - from social media content and podcasting to content writing.

It was great having you with us, Archie! Wishing you all the best, and we hope to see you back in the PR world soon.

The Neville Trust Recipe Book has gone international! ✈️🌍

You may have seen us post last week about one of our clients, Neville Trust Ltd, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.

In recognition of this milestone, the Group of Companies created a Recipe Book consisting of 150 recipes all donated by people close to the business (including some of the Eden team!)

As she enjoys a well-deserved break in Florence, Italy, our Joint Managing Director Isabel Jones is still hustling away, managing to sell a copy of the Recipe Book to a couple in her hotel 🤣

All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Cancer Research UK, which does extraordinary work to pursue research into cancer diagnosis and treatments and continues to save lives in doing so. Would you like to purchase one?

RANK 'EM! 🍫

It was half way into picking our way through a box of Heroes left by our wonderful work experience Archie, when Ryan, Erin and Emily decided to rank their favourites first to worst.

Some heated debate ensued.

And here's what it taught us about PR....(kind of, we guess)

😇Erin: Classic with a bit of bite (or crunch...ie) is fine, no need to have so much filler and complexity. Strong stories will tell themselves.

🤔Emily: Something to chew on, because Dinky Decker has nougat...yes, that'll do as a link...that'll really make people think and stick with your story.

🤪Ryan: The sweeter the better. A piece of content that is jam-packed and layered - like a Creme Egg!

We'd like to apologise for the missing Dairy Milk and Twirl from the rankings - we ate them.
