#50 Week 21 - A FAT PARTY
I'm not drinking again now for a year - after spilling generous amounts of espresso martini all over my lounge floor throughout the evening. We transformed the house into a dance floor, invited friends and family, made lots of snacks and annoyed the neighbours with loud music. My children made these quality streamer decorations - and my disco dog is an epic purchase from The Range. Brilliant!
(Did a lot of steps 🙂 )

#50 Week 17 - BUDDING HAND MODEL

"Getting involved" can mean all sorts in the TNF design studio - last week was no exception. Working on a product shoot for JUMA Communications Ltd with Gavin Kemp - we needed a police officer:-)

A single day of shooting with a demanding schedule is pretty full on - loads of quick visual decisions to be made as a creative director. Gavin is brilliant and as a team we came away with a host of fab pics for future marketing material for Juma.

No training around Kimberley prepared me for the brutal hill and wind on this fell race last weekend.
Very much out of my comfort zone - I managed to take a wrong turn and go down the wrong hill! Oh dear. No matter - it was a great opportunity and experience. Met some fab people and I get to keep my Notts vest :-).

#50 Week 15 - BIT OF A BOOGIE

Was really fab to meet up with Mandy Middlecote last weekend at The Garage Chilwell to celebrate her big birthday. I took the family and spent a lot of money on street food and bubble waffles - but was well worth it.

Band was really good - the venue is definitely worth checking out if you live near Beeston. They do comedy nights, markets and all sorts - I was very impressed and cracking first sunny weekend of the year.

Happy Birthday Mandy - look forward to more celebrating this year!

#50 Week 14 - PASSED MY KARATE GRADING

Yes, I am a secret ninja 🥷

Really pleased to move from my green belt - now half way towards my blue belt. Been going once a week to a local karate group IMA Martial Arts (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100077606894755) for years - loads of fun, so if anyone local to me fancies coming along just shout.

As you can see from the photo - it's dead serious. 💪 ❤️

Made it to a foreign land last week! Hurrah! Some spring sunshine, loads of hiking whilst exploring beautiful wildlife and plants in southern Crete. Loving:
• Proper Greek yogurt
• FOOD - Fresh fabulous fruit and veg (markets)
• Reading a book

#50 Week 12 - LONDON VISIT

Taking kids to London is fun (bit tiring) - but taking the dog as well was a new experience. Best description "Taking a high powered runaway vacuum cleaner into a festival". Carrying her down escalators to the tube was a test of endurance for sure. Really nice for us all to be together through the termoil:-) As well as the delights of London street food (literally),Jazza, our 5 year old spaniel also enjoyed a stay at Travel Lodge. What a pampered pooch!

Big thanks to AP Air Europe Ltd for inviting me to a very fancy corporate box at Villa Park last weekend to watch Leicester Tigers vs Gloucester Rugby - The Slater Cup. Was much fun, very tasty food (I accidently ate black pudding, woops (vege)) - heated seats (genius) and a fabulous new hat from BiGDUG. ###xx
