#50 Week 34 - SUZE BACK ON THE HILLS

#50 Week 33 - BEAUVALE HORTICULTURAL SHOW

No - I haven't grown any price winning carrots! - although the big veg was amazing. For a bit of fun I entered one of my allotment oil studies into the painting category at the local horticultural show. Very proud to be given second place - prize winning was £2 :-)

#50 Week 32 - BENERLEY VIADUCT

Everybody - the café is now open!
This amazing place is a great find - perfect for a stroll or dog walk.
Very close to my home it's also a fab running route.
Thanks to Justin Nellist for joining me exploring the new café which is run by volunteers and does savoury and sweet snacks with indoor and outdoor seating. Yum.
If you live near Nottingham - defo worth a visit!

#50 Week 31 - SALTBURN

Bit late this post (sorry) - What a fab place (No, nothing to do with the movie!) - this beautiful North Yorkshire haven is perfect for a summer getaway. We love it, well I do, the kids are teenagers now - so they just love ice cream, screentime, getting up late. Luckily they still love the beach.

#50 Week 30 - GETTING UP EARLY

This last week I have been mostly working in "Alfreton Tesco Cafe"! (Don't ask)

The exhausting craziness of children, feeding children, mum taxi, work, heat & dog - getting up early to walk said dog has been both tiring, but a little escape at the same time. At TNF we have had lots of fun jobs hit my project management desk - keeping me on my toes.

#50 Week 29 - HIGHLAND GAMES

A few days escape to Scootland with my man, dog and trusty van. First stop Stirling Highland Games - sun, chips, loads of great events! Then off to Aviemore for some very beautiful walks.

Doggo had an epic adventure - us humans spent many hours picking off ticks!

#50 Week 28 - GOT MY SEWING MACHINE OUT

It's been a long time - but so good for mental wellbeing!

Dusting down my sewing machine - I made a mattress cover for my campervan bed. Nothing super challenging - the hardest part was re-threading my interlocker! When the kids were small I would make some fab dresses.

p.s. have left it out, hoping I can get it working for another project.

p.p.s Just had my hair cut - only time you'll see it straight!

#50 Week 27 - I MADE A VIDEO
My first attempt in making a little SM video.
Although we have some fab video peeps in-house - I wanted a way I can create a movie quickly on my own with my phone, so I don't have to take a designer off a project.

I am using VN software which is free - its pretty good.

This year I am hoping to help solve various design / marketing problems which come up regularly - having the correct logo artwork is one of those usual suspects.
