🩷 Please Read 🩷
For a long while now, I’ve been struggling to keep on top of everything…
As many of you know, I’m a one-woman band running this little biz while also being a full-time mummy - and honestly, the juggle is real!! Trying to grow Penny and Me while being the mum I want to be has been incredibly tough. I’ve caught myself comparing myself to others who seem to do it all effortlessly, and to be honest, it’s left me feeling like a *lot* of a failure.
With the rising costs of everything, it’s become harder to keep things going the way I used to. So after lots of thought, I’ve decided to make some changes I truly believe will be positive for me and for the future of Penny and Me.
One big change is that I’ll be switching to a print-on-demand company to fulfil my print orders (A5 and up). This is something I’ve been considering for a long time and it’s taken me a while to find the right one. I’ve tested various prints and suppliers to make sure the quality is spot on, and I’m genuinely so happy (and excited!) with the results.
This shift does means I’ll be increasing my prices slightly over the coming weeks to reflect rising costs and to help me grow the business into what I know it can be (and possibly even be able to pay myself again!! 🥹✨). But it’ll also free up time for me to focus on what I love - designing, creating, and showing up more for you all. Plus: faster delivery times (yay!!).
I’ve also been working away on a brand new website (launching soon!) and new products, but most excitingly I’ll now be able to offer framed prints too - something I’ve wanted to do for years!! 🤩 This change gives me more freedom to attend markets and events, and most importantly, more time with my family (no more late night packing sessions… of prints, anyway!) 🥰
