From coaches and captains to scorers, grounds staff, committee members, bar volunteers, parents and supporters, our club simply wouldn't exist without you.

Whether you're preparing pitches, serving behind the bar, organising fixtures, helping at junior training, scoring matches, fundraising, or cheering from the boundary, every contribution matters.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of community sport, and we're incredibly lucky to have so many people willing to give their time to make Oakham Cricket Club such a special place.

We’re delighted to confirm Daniel Cousens as Oakham RFC Vice Captain for the 2026/27 season. 👏

A player who leads by example every time he pulls on the black & amber, Dan’s commitment, intensity and passion for the club make him a fantastic addition to the leadership group.

Dan said:
“I’m buzzing to join the leadership group and take on the role of vice captain this season. I’m massively excited for the year ahead and I can’t wait to get started with a great group of lads on the 9th July at pre-season!!

We finished off last season with great team performances and amazing support, and I can’t wait to see everyone get back to the Showground for the new season and bring the atmosphere!”

Come along and give it a try at Oakham RFC Presidents Day on Sunday 10th May from 11am!

Whether you’ve never played before or already love the game, this is a great chance to get involved in girls rugby in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
