Pride in our work and the final product is just as important to me as running a successful distillery. Every project is discussed thoroughly with the client, in this case Atlas Bar, Manchester.
Incredibly honoured to be working with Manchester’s finest.
Our first project was Atlas Premium London Dry 47% gin. We linked Atlas bar ethos of travel to a 20 botanical, 5 continents gin.
Manchester Strength was our second offering. Again using solid reasoning and working closely Mark & Elaine the owners of Atlas to create something new. We took Atlas Bar’s coordinates in Manchester at 53 degrees to create a 53.4% abv Manchester Strength gin.
And finally, starting months ago we aged their premium gin with wood staves soaked in cassis and brandy to create their Festive Gin 42%. With inspiration from a 1967 recipe from Manchester Evening News for a Christmas pudding using black toffee, candied peel and mixes spices.
These creative projects is really what Defiance is all about to me.

It’s official. Defiance gin, distilled in Greater Manchester, UK, has been voted the best in the world at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), 2020. Up against more than 3000 entries, Defiance Navy Strength won the ‘Best in Show, Unaged White Spirit’ category.

One of my lovely clients!!...the logo looks amazing painted by our local Delph Banksy. ❤️

Many of you may already know where we are located...however some of our new customers may not and we are always trying to get all our information across to you 🤍 We are located in the lovely village of Delph in Saddleworth, Oldham just off Delph New Road 📍 As well as posting out our brownies via Royal Mail we also have a collection box here in Delph for our local customers to come and collect when suits them best! 🤩🤍 Just so you can find us a little bit easier, we have a gorgeous stone painted by next to the collection box! 🤍
