As we sit down for our last meeting of 2025 in the beautiful Emily’s Formby we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To our clients, collaborators and everyone who’s supported Refined this year, we genuinely appreciate it. It’s been a year of change, reflection and lessons learnt, and your trust has meant more than you’ll know.

We’ve spent time refining (quite literally), having honest conversations and working on what’s next behind the scenes. There’s something new coming in the new year, an extension of the work we already love doing, with more to share soon.

For now, we’re signing off for a few days to enjoy some festive downtime.

Canva is down!

Earlier today, thanks to a Cloudflare outage, Canva amongst other sites have been unavailable and it has caused chaos!

A reminder of how many businesses rely on that one little login to keep their brand moving.

Don’t get us wrong, Canva’s brilliant for quick bits, our team love Canva!

But when it’s down, or glitchy, or images won’t load… everything stops.

When you work with an agency like us, we keep things moving. Our team design in Adobe, build your graphics from scratch and have the capabilities to redraw when needed.

So if you want to keep your brand files organised, and not rely on one platform behaving itself to keep your content consistent, work with a designer that has trained before the days of Canva!

Just a thought for anyone who's sat staring at the Canva loading wheel today.

Final day of voting - and a little reflection…
