Friday/Saturday mornings job!!

The lads at the garage removed the jack and lifted the steel out for us with the forklift prior to starting.

Remove cracked blocks along this pit at my friend’s garage over in Normanton

The blocks support the steel angle iron for the 10 ton jack that runs along it

Replaced the blocks with 2 courses of concrete common bricks and mortar mixed to a 3:1 sand cement ratio

Once we dropped the steel back in situ we fixed it back to the concrete with m12 150mm thunderbolts

Thanks to Simon Fenton and the lads @ David palmers for looking after us 👍👍

Our Outwood job is now up to scaffold height, will be at wall plate by the end of the week,ready for the roof timbers 🧱🧱🔨🔨

Our carrgate job is almost finished now, roof tiled in scaffold down and new windows and doors installed, first fix electric and plumbing work done, plastered out, ready to hand over to the kitchen fitter.

Really enjoyed building this one the whole team has been spot on

Our newest job at Outwood: Strip footing dug out, inspected,mass filled with concrete and built up to Dpc height.

This extension will be up to wall plate and roofed in before Christmas, all being well 🧱🧱

Our Carr gate job coming along nicely,
Roof structure built, floor joists completed ready for insulation, latted and felted ready for the roof tiles going on over the next couple of days!!
