Sales Administrator

About the job
Shropshire Design & Print Solutions is a small independent company based in Oswestry. We are looking for someone to join our team to oversee printing facility, customer sales and purchasing. Prior experience in print production or similar industry is preferred
The ideal candidate will oversee the organisation and efficiency of daily office operations – from scheduled client meetings to communicating with suppliers
We encourage proactive and independent working, and value fresh input and new ideas in the role
Responsibilities
• Day to day admin and support to the office & directors
• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and emails
• Process approved customer designs and artwork and liaise with our in-house printers with final artwork proofs for customer approval
• Prepare customers quotations and carry out order processing tasks in relation to design activities
• Select materials and order to enable production
• Plan production and keep customers up to date with progress of their orders
• Create customer invoices using our bespoke computer software
• General office duties as required
Experience required
• Good level of education, both literate and numerate
• A sound working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Experience within a client facing role and of dealing with the public
• Ability to work under own initiative with a lively and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Desirable
• Social media skills
• Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator software

We are looking for a Sales & Operations Manager to join our team here, with really strong sales and administrative skills, experience of organising projects and happy to pull their sleeves up and muck in – so practical ability too
With particular responsibility for the sales of the business, purchasing and production planning you will be a core part of our team here at SDPS
