F R E E A S S E T S ~

⭐We’ve been designing like mad people this week! Which makes us to appreciate all of the really cool FREE design and photography platforms these days ⭐

❌ What ever you do, make sure you’re not just using someone else’s image and just tagging them in it! You need explicit permission to use it. Eeeep today’s social media landscape is a scary place to navigate with copyright infringement around every corner

So be social smart, here are the you need to ensure that the content you’re using is legal 😁

✅ If you want to use someone image, get 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. We repeat: don’t think a tag is sufficient without their consent!

✅ There are loads of cool FREE resources online for image sourcing. Our favourite is 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡.

✅ Don’t even think you can grab what you want off Google either. It’s sad but true… When you search go to settings > advanced search > usage rights > 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘. And voila!

✅ A super cool mobile app we found this week: 𝐏𝐢𝐱𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩 – with loads of free goodies to add to your photos. Watch them completely come alive!

C R E A T I V I T Y ~ We took some time off this week to get our colourful souls 'designing' - off screen 🤩

It's hard to tear oneself away from a computer and clients, but this is a MUST DO for all creatives 💙

We thought acrylic pouring would be as easy as pie, surprisingly (with having watched not nearly enough tutorials!), we realised it's WAY harder than it looks 😂

So we'll stick to our day jobs for now... Until next week's team building artistic adventure! 😅
