ABOUT US:
Saltoria Marketing was set up in the summer of 2020 by best friends Sally Day and Vittoria Casuscelli. In January 2023, Sally & Vittoria amicably parted ways and ended their business partnership, which meant Sally became the sole Director and owner of Saltoria Marketing. Sally’s background is in academic publishing, student experience and the charity sector. She works closely with a team of talented freelance creatives to support her diverse range of clients.

Something new is coming…

After 5 amazing years, we are closing the Saltoria Marketing brand to make way for something new (keep reading to find out more). It’s been the best journey and now is the time to move onto a new chapter.

There have been so many highlights and so many achievements to mention. Launching a company in March 2020 after being made redundant was an adventure and a challenge and we’ve learnt loads along the way and supported some amazing teams and people.

A huge thank you to all our friends, colleagues and clients. You’ve been wonderful and we so appreciate you.

And a special mention to our Co-Founder Vittoria who left the business in 2023. You created this great company too!

Sally will be continuing her work (under a new personal brand) and will be focusing on consultancy, workshops and training - and offering content strategy and creation too.

Do you think you're having enough fun at work?

Research suggests that taking time to notice the little things can benefit both physical and mental health. So, how can we find joy in the ordinary and everyday working moments?

Happiful Magazine describes 'Microjoys' as '...those small pockets of joy found within the everyday and ordinary aspects of life, often overlooked or taken for granted. This could be your first cup of tea in the morning, an unexpected smile from a stranger, or the satisfaction of crossing off an item on your to-do list. They may seem insignificant, but individually, they have the power to uplift our mood significantly.'

This isn't about ignoring our challenges or problems - it's about being present in moments of joy, no matter how small or fleeting they may seem.

We love supporting clients with revamping or refreshing their visual and verbal brands.

A huge part of this transformation is the cultural shift and the internal comms that go alongside the launch.

As this CharityComms article states: 'Brand updates are only effective if they are embraced and understood by all staff and volunteers. Brand guidelines should not sit inert in a folder for only creatives and new starters to read.'

This isn't just a fun exercise to give things a 'spruce' - this is a strategic shift to bring success and growth benefits to your organisation or charity.

Do you have a mentor at work?

This could be someone who isn't your line manager or team lead - it's typically an individual who can challenge you, guide you and offer support with your role, personal development and upskilling.

There are so many benefits to being mentored at work, including support with motivation, clarity on specific challenges and a framework for a career plan. Or simply having someone that just 'gets it'.

It's important to be open to feedback and willing to adapt and step outside your comfort zone. Change can be scary, but more often than not it's an exciting opportunity! Be as specific as possible with what you want/need and make sure you're getting everything you need from each conversation.
